Key Responsibilities (but not limited to): - Review of Journal entries including end of the month entries, - Assist the Finance Manager in maintenance and analysis of schedules such as prepayments and lapsing of fixed assets, - Review Bank reconciliations, - Supervision of Payable and Receivables Department in their respective functions, - Preparation of Payment Voucher and Bank Cheques, Bank transfer and allocation of expenses to appropriate accounts. - Proper allocation of Receipt Vouchers for debtor's collection, - Develop Credit Notes/Debit Notes accurately and reconciliation of monthly Acccounts Receivable. - Supervise and ensure completion of invoicing procedures and accurate accounting of all generated invoices. - Reconciliation of General Ledger and Receivable Ledger. - Review of petty cash payments. - Handling petty cash funds. The candidates must: - have minimum 2-4 years of UAE experience in similare field. - be fluent in English (other languages are added advantage) - be well versed with MS Office, - be honest and proactive. - have experience in Accounting software (Quickbooks knowledge preferably).
